The Game it Away! project ​(KA220-HED-9BDA8877D) is an initiative of six European organisations (five Higher Education Institutions and one social enterprise) supported by the Erasmus+ programme, running from January 2023 to June 2025.

The core of our project is to revolutionise Entrepreneurship Education by moving away from traditional models and using a hands-on, transdisciplinary approach that combines game design with maker-centred learning. The goal is to make these crucial skills accessible to all Higher Education students, validate their learning with microcredentials, and foster an international mindset.

This project introduces a dynamic and accessible Entrepreneurship Training Programme (ETP) for all Higher Education students. We move beyond textbooks and business plans by challenging students to learn through action.

​By designing and building their own games in a hands-on makerspace environment, students develop essential entrepreneurial competencies in a way that is engaging, practical, and fun.

​The Game it Away! project provides a direct response, shifting from passive theory to active experience. By combining game design and maker-centred learning, we create a powerful, hands-on environment to build real skills and a resilient mindset.
